Oils & Acrylics This workshop is for all abilities and will cover representational and abstract painting. I will spend the evening session describing and demonstrating the various properties and versatilities of the two mediums. You can then decide what you want to try first and I will set you up with all the materials you need to start first thing next day. You will be able to tackle your chosen subject from life if practical or from photos.
4th to 6th June   £299pp

Watercolour Landscapes The hotel is a perfect venue for landscape painting, with everything from wonderful trees to vista views. The extensive gardens offer grand views or lots of nooks and crannies. I will cover ideas on composition, colour mixing and theory and how to do a very quick watercolour sketch.
